Forum rules

Due to the little tweaks to the site you should now post all raids and megaraids using the post a new raid menu option at the top of the page. You will be asked for some basic information including location and date and these should be filled out. If you don't post this way your items will not be put into the calendar.

If it is a multi day event (Hog, Loot, LUG, that sort of thing) please put in the first day of collecting for the date and the event name for the location.

Please don't post items until you have checked in the calendar to make sure they have not already been posted. Do not do spam posts with multiple entries for the same post. Lazy posting will not be rewarded in a good way. Double posted items will be deleted without any warning and if you do it frequently then you may find a horse head in your bed.

NEW RULE: Please do not post permits on here unless you actually have the permit in your hand. If it's a speculative thing then you can discuss it in 'getting organised'. If you've applied for a permit then you may not get it so don't embarrass yourself by posting it here.

The main Daffodil Day 2010 in London is Saturday 13th March: this should include all the Boroughs but not the City.

The boroughs include some lucrative town centres such as Bromley and Romford as well as the Westminster area.

Unlike one or two of the other regions, the London branch of Marie Curie won't try and force you into a 2 hour slot if you want to do the whole day.

If you want to show some pre-interest (and possibly reserve a good spot) contact Claire on

Would just like to state that I won't force you into a 2 hour slot if you choose to collect in Cheshire or North Staffs.

Since when did you...? Eh, my head hurts!

What major areas do you cover then, that might be commutable from Nottingham, and when are you getting the permits for?

I have to say that neither the Notts + Derbyshire, the Cambridgeshire nor the Bath + Bristol teams ever had a problem with me doing full days, I've only heard about it being an issue.
