Forum rules

Due to the little tweaks to the site you should now post all raids and megaraids using the post a new raid menu option at the top of the page. You will be asked for some basic information including location and date and these should be filled out. If you don't post this way your items will not be put into the calendar.

If it is a multi day event (Hog, Loot, LUG, that sort of thing) please put in the first day of collecting for the date and the event name for the location.

Please don't post items until you have checked in the calendar to make sure they have not already been posted. Do not do spam posts with multiple entries for the same post. Lazy posting will not be rewarded in a good way. Double posted items will be deleted without any warning and if you do it frequently then you may find a horse head in your bed.

NEW RULE: Please do not post permits on here unless you actually have the permit in your hand. If it's a speculative thing then you can discuss it in 'getting organised'. If you've applied for a permit then you may not get it so don't embarrass yourself by posting it here.

Post Bristol for Malawi Education Project on 27/03/2010
Hi guys,

I am moonlighting a bit as this is a raid for a charity that I am doing some voluntary trust fundraising applications for. They have their first raid coming up and I have offered to see if I can help get a few people along so that it is a really fantastic collection.

The Malawi Education Project's aims are to support education, literacy and access to learning resources in Malawi. Starting out as a book donation project, shipping the resources out to Malawi and into libraries they had built. They are now working in partnership with local organisations and communities to sustainably install and run new libraries into the future. http://www.malawieducationproject.com/

It would be great to get Ragabond representation along and show them how good a collection can be!

Let me know if you'd be up for this one.

Kat

Just a quick final plea/check to see if anyone is around and could help at this collection in Bristol?
